KMT is organising its first Charity Golf Challenge fundraiser in aid of the Kaghan Memorial School. This 18-hole event will feature teams from the corporate and private sector competing for the Challenge Trophy. All proceeds will go towards the ongoing construction and operations of the Kaghan Memorial School. The revised date for this event will be announced soon.

The Kaghan Memorial School's first year was an exciting one for both the teachers and the students. It ended on December 18, 2009, when the School closed for Winter Break. The new school year will commence from March 15, 2010, when an additional 68 children will join the School bringing the total enrolment to around 200 students. These children are divided into 2 sections each of Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2. With the new school curriculum being implemented and four new international volunteer teachers joining the team, we are sure that the new school year will be a success.

Interviews for children wishing to join the Kaghan Memorial School in 2010 took place in December. Further interviews will take place in March. In total, 68 students will be selected for admission into Kindergarten.
