Stephanie joined KMT at the end of April from Sweden where she recently has obtained her Master's degree in Crisis Management and Peace Building. Prior to joining KMT's Head Office Stephanie was working at the Swedish Foreign Ministry, Africa Department. Her interest for development issues started when she was living and working as a volunteer in Ghana in 2005. She grew very fond of the country and has since been back to visit friends and by working as a trainee at a women's organisation.

Stephanie has previous experience from working with children in vulnerable situations through the Swedish Red Cross. This is the main reason behind her decision to move to Pakistan and support KMT's vision of providing quality education to underprivileged children. Whilst at KMT Stephanie's main focus will be at strengthening the Sponsor a Child Programme. When Stephanie is not working she enjoys watching films, sewing and hiking.

Farrukh Hameed joined our Head Office team in August 2009. Now working as the Trust's first full time Accounts Officer, he has been tasked with maintaining accounts and preparing financial reports for the Trust and the School.

Farrukh has considerable experience working within the NGO and corporate sector. His previous job with an accounting firm required him to conduct internal and external audits, prepare financial statements, liaise with banks and arrange tax submissions. These skills will make him an invaluable asset for the Trust.

Outside work, Farrukh is a dedicated family man. Originally from Multan, a city famous for its handicrafts and pottery, he entertains an endless stream of visiting family at his house in Islamabad. Newly-married, he is hoping to take a vacation in the Middle East with his wife in the near future.
