Direct Contributions

Sponsors and donors may contribute directly to the school by sending their donations to the Kaghan Memorial Trust. Whereas our immediate priority is to arrange funds for constructing the school, donors may specify when contributing whether they want their money to be spent on construction costs, or whether they would like it to be held in trust for meeting future operational expenses of the school.

Large Sponsors Programme

Individuals and Corporate entities wishing to make significant contributions towards the building and running of the school may do so by choosing one of the following options:

Donate an office :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 600,000 (US$ 10,000), one administrative office will be named after the donor;
Donate a classroom :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 900,000 (US$ 15,000), one classroom will be named after the donor;
Donate a residential suite :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 1,200,000 (US$ 20,000), one of the teachers’ residential suites (housing two teachers) will be named after the donor;
Donate a medical room :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 1,200,000 (US$ 20,000), one of the school’s two medical rooms will be named after the donor;
Donate a dormitory :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 1,500,000 (US$ 25,000), one residential dormitory housing 10 children will be named after the donor;
Donate our grounds :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 3,000,000 (US$ 50,000), one of the school’s playgrounds will be named after the donor;
Donate our science laboratories :  Details
For a donation of Rs. 3,000,000 (US$ 50,000), one of the school’s three science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) will be named after the donor;
Donate our computer rooms :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 3,000,000 (US$ 50,000), one of the schools two computer rooms will be named after the donor;
Donate our secondary library :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 3,000,000 (US$ 50,000), the school’s second, smaller library will be named after the donor;
Donate our central library :   Details
For a contribution of Rs. 4,500,000 (US$ 75,000), the school’s main library will be named after the donor;
Donate a hostel :   Details
The boarding facilities planned for the school will consist of two hostel compounds, one for boys and the other for girls. Donors have the option of contributing the entire construction costs of either one of these two hostel compounds consisting of 5 dormitories, dining facilities, a common room, and other required infrastructure. This will allow the KMT to provide boarding facilities to its children sooner rather than later. For a contribution of Rs. 12,000,000 (US$200,000), one entire hostel compound will be named after the donor.

Permanent Sponsors Programme

For those individuals who would like to extend long term support to the school and its operations, the following two sponsorship options are available:

A.

For a contribution of Rs. 600,000 (US$ 10,000) per year, the donor will be recognized and listed as a ‘Benefactor’ of the Kaghan Memorial School. Benefactors will be invited to attend all major functions organized by the school during any given academic year;

B.
For a contribution of Rs. 1,200,000 (US$ 20,000) or more per year, the donor will be recognized and listed as a ‘Patron’ of the Kaghan Memorial School. Patrons will be invited to nominate one individual as an ‘Observer’ to the Board of the Kaghan Memorial Trust for the year(s) during which they extend their financial support to the school. Observers will be able to directly monitor the management of the Trust and the School.

Pledge Details
